Smith and Nephew – Colne
Ashworth Demolition carried out one of the largest demolition contracts in the area for the last 20 years. The former Smith and Nephew site at North Valley Road in Colne was demolished to provide land for redevelopment.

Over 5000 tonnes of reclaimed material was removed and 15000 tonnes of crushed hard core was left on site for the rebuilding work. The process took a team of between 20 and 35 men and £750,000 worth of equipment just 20 weeks to complete, which was 10 days ahead of schedule.
